Open-top Jeep safari
Our safari covers the whole island, from South to North and back. We explore the varied terrain from the plains on the eastern side, which merge gently into peaceful days & golden beaches, to the Western side, which is mountainous with steep cliffs along its coastline. During the safari we drive both on and off road carefully and considerately. All guests will be collected from our office in Argassi at a pre-arranged time and then head towards our starting point just inside Laganas. Here instructions will be made & safety procedures will be covered. There will be a short brief on the day’s itinerary before we set off on safari… Our first stop is at the historic Venetian church tower in the beautiful mountain village Kikomenos. Heading off track we visit the village of Loucha & Giri, which is the smallest village on the island, having a population of only 20 people. Here at approx. 10 a.m. we will stop for a short coffee break. Then onwards to our next stop at Vrachiona, the highest point on the island. Where from a height of 1000m (30006) you will be able to view the whole of Zakynthos, Kefalonia & the Greek mainland in the distance.
Heading further north we visit the cross of Kampi & learn the history behind it. You will also be able to take in the magnificent rugged coastline on this side of the island. At 12:30 you either have the option of bringing your own lunch or indulging in the Greek cuisine attired at special prices for our guests. After the lunch break, we drive through Exo Chora, where you will see the oldest olive tree on the island, on Monies, and into the tiny village of Anafonitria. Just outside Anafonitria we have a shortstop with a little wine tasting and see some of our local products such as rugs, lace, honey, and wine. And then one of the most famous sites around the world: Shipwreck, magnificent view of the deep blue sea of the Ionian Sea. Heading on through the village at Volimes our next stop is swimming in the crystal clear waters of Makris Gialos and photo shooting at the famous natural sulfur spring called Xigia (about 30′-40′) and off we go to the naturally collected salt pans of Alykes. By the end of the tour (4pm.) we will have passed by the villages Alykanas, Amoudi, Gerakari, and Kalipado viewing the extensive olive & lemon groves vineyards & plains of picturesque Zakynthos. Throughout the day, our drivers & guides will share with you Zakynthian history & local stories as you explore the island. We can stop on request in any of the villages we are passing through to take photos & answer your questions and provide further information on the history of Greece and Zakynthos. A day out on the Jeep Safari Land Rover Experience is a day of pure escapism, a time to leave all your worries behind & enjoy that feeling of being free & totally relaxed.
Shipwreck Land & Sea (Shipwreck Blue Caves Small capacity glass-bottom boat cruise)
On this excursion, we will pick you up with our 7 or 8-seat luxurious Mercedes Minivan from our office in Argassi at 8:30 am. We will take you to the Shipwreck viewpoint from above the cliff mountain. Afterward, we are moving to St. Nicholas port cape to embark a wonderful adventure with our small capacity glass-bottom boat to the Blue Caves. There you will have your first swimming stop inside the cave to enjoy the crystal clear blue waters and take pictures of this magnificent sightseeing. Coming back from the Blue Caves we will take you to the most beautiful beach of the Mediterranean and the Ionian Sea, the Shipwreck beach (smugglers cove). There you will spend one hour swimming & enjoying the 50 shades of blue of these amazing waters. After that, we will get back to the port. There will be an opportunity for an optional lunch at the windmill Skinari on the highest point of the north of the island. Then we get our deluxe minivan to go to our last stop, Xigia Beach Spa, where you will be able to enjoy yourself at this charming regular ocean spa which is filled of sulfur & collagen waters, which revives your skin.

Stop 1St.Nikolas Port
We will take you to St. Nicholas port cape to embark a wonderful adventure with a glass bottom boat to Blue Caves.
Stop 2Blue Caves
There you will have your first swimming stop inside the cave to enjoy the crystal clear blue eaters and take pictures of this magnificent sightseeing.
Stop 3Shipwreck Beach
Coming back from the Blue Caves we will take you to the most beautiful beach of the Ionian Sea, the Shipwreck. There you will spend one-hour swimming & enjoying the 50 shades of blue of these amazing waters.
Stop 4Shipwreck from above
After that, it is time for pictures from the top of the hill of Shipwreck. You will get there by our deluxe mini van and stay there for 20′ – 30′. On the way you will be able to enjoy also a coffee or lunch (optional).
Stop 5Xigia Beach
Your last stop will be at Xigia Sea Spa, where you will be able to enjoy yourself at this charming regular ocean spa which is filled of sulfur & collagen.

Our first stop is at Shipwreck Beach, where you can spend an hour swimming in natural blue water.
The next stop is Blue Caves and Agios Andreas Caves, where you can explore arches and hidden caves while snorkeling underwater and spotting fish and reefs. If you’re lucky, you might even see the Monahus Monahus seal.

VIP TURTLE TRIP
At the lovely harbor of Agios Sostis, we board the turtle-spotting trip. From here, we’ll embark on our first turtle-spotting adventure. We virtually always get the opportunity to have a close look at these endearing creatures.
We go on to Marathonisi, often known as Zakynthos Turtle Island, for our second turtle sighting. We make a swim stop at Turtle Island’s front beach. This is a fantastic snorkeling spot. We stay about the caverns and seashore for about 45 minutes, giving you plenty of time to relax and take in the scenery.
On this excursion, we continue from Zakynthos Turtle Island to the Keri Caves, taking in the beautiful coastline scenery of Zante along the way. Another swimming stop is made at the Keri Caves. The Keri Caves offer swimming and snorkeling opportunities. On our way back to Agios Sostis, we make a pit stop to see if we can locate any more turtles in case we missed them on our initial trip.

You and your children can begin with riding lessons in a confined environment, then go to a 1-hour track, or join us for a 2-hour ride for a wonderful experience. These trails ascend the mountains and pass past olive groves.

With each ride, you will be accompanied by professionals who will communicate in English and Greek.
