Jeep Safari

This is a full circle tour around the island with three swimming stops.

We start our trip Safari adventure with our brand new Range Rover’s fully airconditions and comforts.

Usually the day Begins at 8:30 from Michael’s Travel office Argassi, we can pick you up from your accommodation if you are staying faraway or outside Argassi area, time will be set according your location.

We start our tour by driving to the north east part of the island we pass threw Alykanas & Alykes on our way to the first stop that will be at Xigia beach the famous beach of natural sulphur and collagen waters coming out of the caves ( the natural Spa of the island ) 45 minutes to enjoy a swim or a morning coffee break there, with a magnificent view above the beach. And then we move forward to pass by Makris Gialos and Mikro Nissi and then we start climbing through Volimes village to cross the island from the north east to the north west and there we go visit the shipwreck view point from above the cliff breath taking view for some nice panoramic memorable photos.

We move then to St.george monastery to visit the place of the simple self supported life of the 7 monks who lives there and it’s to see the history of the 524 years old monastery building. The work shop where they do the mosaic art and the church and the bells hanging outside on the old olive trees. Afterwards we’ll start going to the southwest exo chora village, another old historic village which contains of the oldest olive tree over 2000 years old and there we will have the chance to try the tastes of the traditional productions of the island such as virgin Olive oil , wine , honey , almonds, liqueur ect… after this stop we’ll move to the south east Saint Leon village for the descending to Porto Limionas and there we’ll have our long journey stop for 1:30 hour to enjoy lunch and a magnificent swimming stop where you can choose to jump from the cliff or swim inside the caves .

We move after to Porto Roxa where we start our off road adventure deep in the heart of the mountains to end up coming out to korakonisi the place where the natural pools are. There we have our last swim stop and the chance to jump from the high cliff,  it’s one of the best spots on the island for snorkelling or cliff jumping. Afterwards we are going back between 15:00 and 16:00 o’clock to your accommodation.
